Description
Haemulon flaviguttatum reaches 30 cm. Grunt (Haemulidae) Indo-Pacific, Galapagos & East Pacific. Gray-blue base, numerous tight yellow dots scattered everywhere. Daytime schooling rocky/coral reef, nocturnal mobile. Microphage. Reef 5-40 m. Little threatened = LC. Recognition dense yellow dots. Nocturnal ichthyophage regulator.
