Description

Plectorhinchus albovittatus reaches 40 cm. Sweetlips (Haemulidae) Indo-Pacific (Red Sea, IP reefs). Dark brown-gray body, white longitudinal stripes (10-12). Benthic nocturnal swimmer. Sheltered on rocky bottoms by day. Invertebrate-small crustacean predator. Reefs 8-45 m. No threats = LC. Less spectacular than other Plectorhinchus.
