Description

Amphiprion polymnus reaches 8-11 cm. Orange-red body with white bands and distinctive black saddle on back. Obligate symbiosis with host anemones, particularly Cradactis. Indo-Pacific at 2-30 m. Male and female live together defending territory rigidly. Highly appreciated by divers and mythical in aquarium hobby.
