Description

Amphiprion akallopisos reaches 11 cm. Small clownfish with a uniform salmon-orange-pink body adorned with a fine median white stripe along the back from the upper lip to the caudal base (hence skunk). No other vertical bars, unlike most clownfishes. Lives in symbiosis with the anemones Heteractis magnifica and Stichodactyla mertensii. Western Indian Ocean: Madagascar, Mozambique, Seychelles.
