Trisopterus minutus reaches 40 cm. More slender than its cousin T. luscus, uniform copper-pink body without the vertical bands. Dark lateral line, chin barbel. Also forms dense schools on NE Atlantic wrecks and rocky drop-offs from 15 to 440 m. Often visually confused with pouting, but smaller and thinner. Local commercial value, appreciated fried. Regular sightings in the western Mediterranean as well.
