Hypselodoris picta reaches 20 cm, one of the largest Mediterranean-Atlantic nudibranchs. Purple-blue body marked with several vivid-yellow longitudinal stripes, bright golden-yellow gills and rhinophores. Feeds on colored sponges and sequesters their toxins. Slow and easily photographed on coralligenous walls between 3 and 50 m. Easier to spot than its tropical cousins due to its size.
