Felimare tricolor (formerly Hypselodoris tricolor) is a nudibranch of 2 to 5 cm, purple-blue body edged with vivid yellow and white bands, orange rhinophores and gills. Mediterranean endemic. Feeds on sponges and sequesters their toxic compounds for defense. Common on coralligenous rocky walls between 3 and 40 m. Spectacular macro colors.
