Description
Hypselodoris bullockii reaches 6 cm. Brilliant purple-violet body edged with a thin white line, golden-yellow gill plume and orange rhinophores in spectacular contrast. Feeds on colorful sponges, sequestering their pigments and toxins. Western Indo-Pacific: Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand. Reef habitat between 5 and 30 m. Macro subject especially appreciated for its photogenic purple-yellow contrast.
