Description

Hypselodoris infucata reaches 6 cm. Small Indo-Pacific nudibranch (Chromodorididae) with pale green to cream-yellow mantle covered with small purple-black spots and orange dots, white-purple mantle edge, orange gills, purple rhinophores. Lives from 1 to 30 m on coral and rocky reefs of entire Indo-Pacific (Red Sea to central Pacific). Feeds on sponges. Accessible photogenic macro photo subject for its complex varied pattern.
