Trimma macrophthalmus reaches 8 cm. Goby (Gobiidae) Indo-Pacific. Tiny, oversized huge eyes (twilight zone adaptation 15-80 m). Dark orange-red. Zooplanktivore. Very discreet. Little threatened = LC. Gigantic eyes = intriguing light adaptation.
