Description

Coryphopterus glaucofraenum reaches 8 cm. Small goby with semi-translucent white-cream body with diffuse brown punctations, distinctive blue-green bridle under eye (hence glaucofraenum). Lives from 0 to 45 m on sand, coral reefs and debris zones of Caribbean and tropical western Atlantic. Generally still on bottom, lightning retraction. Discreet macro photo subject. Usual company of Caribbean sandy dives, in duos or loose groups.
