Description

Chromogobius zebratus reaches 6 cm. Small goby with a pink-beige body and fine dark transverse stripes (hence zebra-like). Extremely cryptic, lives in small cracks and interstices of coralligenous rocky walls between 2 and 40 m. A prized macro subject for its graphic pattern. Discreet, must be sought with a torch in crevices.
