Goniobranchus splendidus reaches 6 cm. Endemic Southwest Pacific (East Australia) nudibranch (Chromodorididae) with cream-white mantle with regularly arranged bright red spots and bright yellow-orange border (hence splendidus, splendid), white gills, red-orange rhinophores. Lives from 3 to 30 m on coral and rocky reefs of east Australian coast (New South Wales, Queensland). Feeds on sponges. Iconic macro photo subject of east Australia dives.
