Description

Parablennius rouxi reaches 7 cm. Small Mediterranean blenny with thin elongated cream-white body with two distinctive longitudinal dark bands from head to peduncle, black spots often visible on tail. Small supraorbital tentacles. Lives from 1 to 25 m in crevices, cracks and rock holes of Mediterranean. Very cryptic, sticks head out of holes. Predator of small invertebrates. Macro photo subject for blenny enthusiasts, more discreet than P. gattorugine.
