Description
Coris gaimard reaches 20-35 cm. Brilliant red-orange head, white-blue body with red spots. Vigorously digs sand and debris searching for prey. Indo-Pacific at 3-50 m. Voracious predator of small invertebrates and crustaceans. Highly visible due to size and digging behavior. Highly appreciated in diving.
