Description

Stypopodium zonale reaches 30 cm. Tropical brown alga characterized by unique morphology: alternating rings or zones distinctly visible. Tropical reefs (0-30 m). Wide Indo-Pacific distribution. Least threatened = LC. Very visually characteristic, easy to identify zoned morphology.
