Description

Lobophora variegata reaches 15 cm. Tiny tropical brown alga, flat surface finely divided into lobes. Attaches rocks and corals (0-30 m). Very wide tropical distribution. Least threatened = LC. Important cryptic habitat for small reef invertebrates.
