Scarus ghobban reaches 90 cm. Large parrotfish with extraordinary circumtropical distribution, present from Red Sea to Polynesia, but also in Eastern Pacific in Mexico and Peru. First enriched in batch 11 (Indo-Pacific). Same biology but in this Eastern Pacific context, particularly notable as one of the few Scaridae to have colonized both sides of the Pacific Ocean. Terminal males blue-green, females yellow-orange. Herbivore. Dimorphism and harem spawning. Photo subject in tropical Latin American dives.
