Description

Muraena lentiginosa reaches 1.8 m. Moray (Muraenidae) endemic East Pacific & Galapagos. Yellow-brown dominant, tiny golden spots everywhere (lenticles). Nocturnal large-prey carnivore. Rocky & coral reef 3-50 m crevices. Little threatened = LC. Specialized cave morph. Less aggressive vs other morays = less dangerous.
