Description

Flabellina lineata reaches 3 cm. Small aeolid with an elongated translucent body crossed by fine opaque-white longitudinal lines, pink-to-orange cerata in spaced clusters along the back. Specialist of thread-like hydroids. Lives on Mediterranean rocky walls between 3 and 30 m. Rarer and more discreet than Flabellina affinis and Edmundsella pedata. Macro subject for patient divers.
