Entacmaea quadricolor reaches 40 cm diameter. Spectacular Indo-Pacific anemone with cylindrical tentacles whose tips are characteristically swollen in pink-purple, white, gray or fluorescent purple bulbs (hence quadricolor, colors varying by partitions). Forms clonal aggregations. Lives from 1 to 50 m on coral reefs of entire Indo-Pacific. Listed LC. Exclusive host of Premnas biaculeatus (maroon clownfish) and main of Amphiprion frenatus, A. ephippium. Signature macro diving photo subject.
