Description
Dascyllus reticulatus reaches 5-7 cm. Black body with distinctive white reticulated pattern covering flanks and head. Found on Indo-Pacific coral reefs at 2-25 m, very common on outer reef slopes. Highly territorial, remaining close to its coral host colony. Easy to identify in the field due to its aggressive defensive behavior.
