Description

Urotrygon rogersi reaches 50 cm. Small benthic rajid (Dasyatidae?) East Pacific deep. Brown-gray, flattened disc, short caudal spine. Sandy-muddy bottoms 10-150 m. Very discreet, self-buries in sediment. Piscivore-carcinophage. Rarely observed = limited LC data. Diving accessibility limited to upper layer (10-30 m) of range.
