Description
Scyllarides squammosus reaches 35 cm. Slipper lobster (Scyllaridae) from Indo-Pacific. Characteristic scaly brown, flattened enlarged antennae like paddles. Flattened body to slip into crevices. Rocky inhabit 5-80 m. Nocturnal-cryptic. Predator-detritivore. Lightly fished = LC. Observable on reef.
