Description

Risbecia tryoni reaches 12 cm. Large nudibranch with cream-white mantle covered with distinctive large black spots and pink-purple edge, white gills, orange rhinophores. Remarkable behavior: pairs often move in trail-following file, one following another touching tail with rhinophores. Lives from 3 to 40 m on coral reefs of central and western Indo-Pacific. Sought-after macro photo subject especially when trail-following (two in frame).
