Description
Paracirrhites arcatus reaches 12 cm. Hawkfish (Cirrhitidae) Indo-Pacific, Galapagos & East Pacific. Bright red-orange, pointed/arched dorsal fin (spine). Coral-obligate, perched on coral heads. Micro-predator piscivore. Coral reef 5-40 m. Little threatened but coral-health dependent = LC. Indicator healthy coral.
