Panulirus versicolor reaches 50 cm. Spiny lobster Indo-Pacific (Palinuridae). Dark-brown dorsal, bright blue-white and yellow bands on flanks, colored spines. Magnificent. Tropical reef inhabitant 5-70 m. Nocturnal solitary. Generalist predator. Light fishing = LC. Highly observable on tropical reefs.
