Description

Emblemariopsis bahamensis reaches 4 cm. Very small blenny with near-transparent body with diffuse brown punctations, characteristic bright blue-green eyes. Lives in old worm holes and dead coral on coral reefs of Caribbean and Bahamas from 5 to 30 m. Hard to spot in normal diving, macro subject specially sought in Caribbean coconut groves for patient observation. Small family of Chaenopsidae (tubicolous blennies).
