Description
Conus marmoreus reaches 15 cm. Cone (Mollusca) Indo-Pacific. Beautiful white-black marbled shell. EXTREMELY VENOMOUS: harpoon neurotoxin ultra-fast + calcium-channel blocker. Hunts active fish = ultra-dangerous. Slow benthic by day, rapid predator by night. Reefs 5-60 m. LC. EXTREME DANGER: possible death. Beautiful but DANGER.
