Description

Caloria indica reaches 3 cm. Tiny aeolid nudibranch (Facelinidae) Indo-Pacific with transparent white-translucent body with orange-red to vivid red cerata tipped luminous white-bluish, orange lamellate rhinophores, long white cephalic tentacles. Lives from 5 to 25 m on coral reefs of central Indo-Pacific. Hydroid predator. Highly sought-after trophy macro photo subject at Lembeh and Anilao for its fluorescent colors and small size.
