Description

Stenopus hispidus reaches 10 cm, an iconic cleaning-station shrimp. Translucent white body with alternating vivid red bands, long white antennae. Always lives paired for life at the entrance of a small cave or overhang. Actively cleans fish that show up, including morays and groupers. Found in all tropical waters. An unmissable macro subject in the Caribbean.
