Description

Ostorhinchus aureus reaches 18 cm. Cardinal (Apogonidae) East Pacific. Uniform golden-orange body, red eyes. Nocturnal, deep rocky cliffs. Ichthyophage. 8-60 m. Little threatened = LC. Rare to observe, eastern endemic regional.
