Description

Forcipiger longirostris reaches 8-12 cm. Bright lemon-yellow body with very long pointed beak specialized for probing in corals. Fine blue-black linear pattern. Indo-Pacific at 2-50 m. Highly visible due to extreme rostrum. Forms pairs. Highly appreciated for unique appearance. Remarkable in diving.
