Description

Apogon nigrofasciatus reaches 12 cm. Cardinal (Apogonidae) Indo-Pacific. Cream-white, three bold black bands highly contrasted. Nocturnal, coral refuge. Zooplanktivore. Reef 5-35 m. Little threatened = LC. Very discreet, clear identity in macro photo.
