Description

Zostera noltii reaches 30 cm. Tiny European marine seagrass, very reduced compared to Z. marina. European Atlantic coasts, shallow Mediterranean (0-6 m). Very short grass meadow. Small fish nursery. Least threatened = LC. Complementary species temperate French coastal seagrass.
