Description

Pseudoceros dimidiatus reaches 8 cm. Flatworm (Pseudocerotidae) Indo-Pacific with flattened leaf-like oval body, spectacular alternating gold-yellow and black longitudinal stripes on dorsal face, distinctive vivid orange mantle edge. Lives from 1 to 30 m on Indo-Pacific coral reefs. Moves by undulating body. Predator or scavenger, associated with colonial ascidians. Trophy macro dive photo subject, one of the most beautiful and sought-after flatworms at Lembeh, Anilao, Red Sea.
