Description

Ophiomyxa flaccida reaches 4 cm diameter. Deep brittle star (Ophiomyxidae) from wide distribution. Pale soft beige, very lax flaccid arms, small disc. Sand-mud inhabitant 10-100 m. Suspension microphage. Minimally threatened = LC.
