Description

Macropodia rostrata reaches 10 cm. Minor spider crab (Majidae) from Mediterranean. Light-brown rostrate, very fine elongated legs. Inhabitant of rocks-seagrass 3-40 m. Sedentary-hidden. Slow benthic predator. Not threatened = LC. Rarely observed in standard diving.
