Description

Cypraea pantherina reaches 10 cm. Cowrie (Mollusca) Indo-Pacific. Cream-white shell spotted brown-black = leopard/panther pattern. Smaller than C. tigris. Branched mantle by day, glossy at night. Nocturnal. Reefs 5-50 m. LC. Less coveted.
