Description
Choriaster granulatus reaches 35 cm. Indo-Pacific coastal asterid (Asteroidea). Bright rust-orange, characteristic granular-tuberculate highly tactile surface. Reef-rock-sand inhabitant 5-60 m. Generalist benthic predator. Nocturnal-diurnal. Minimally threatened = LC. Beautiful observable.
