Description
Charonia variegata reaches 40 cm. Predatory gastropod (Mollusca) Indo-Pacific. Spiral shell, brown-black variegated patterns. Smaller than C. tritonis. Nocturnal, small mollusc-crustacean predator. Less known, poorly studied. Reefs 5-50 m. LC. Less visible than C. tritonis.
