Cassis cornuta reaches 50 cm. Giant helmet (Mollusca) Indo-Pacific. Enormous thick shell, brown-black-white patterns. Specialized urchin predator: flips over, removes spines, siphon injects toxin. Slow benthic, heavy consumer. Shell crafting threatens population. Reefs-bottoms 5-40 m. LC but intensive fishing. Spectacular predation.
